Caitlin is a graduating senior in the New Media department, and she hopes to use hide and seek or places like it to help promote her capstone. She is working on a website that will help link seafood consumers to the actual source of their food. Individuals that harvest lobster, mussels, clams and shrimp. And helping her out, is her African Grey Parrot, Logan (who can be seen perched somewhere in the IMRC almost every day).
Places like Hide and Seek on campus can prove as a great vessel to promote the good work she is doing. Caitlin has a permit to dig clams that she wants to take, steam and serve as samples to passer-by. This creatively will get the word out about her capstone as well as serve as a device for people to remember her.
She is one of the many students who is taking our major and helping out others, and is a great example of what we can do as a community.
