UMaine New Media faculty and students got together in April to help document and expand the technological / informational capacities of MapMap (http://projection-mapping.org/tools/mapmap/), an open source projection mapping software platform that faculty member Sofian Audry has helped create.
During this sprint, the participants experimented with the core elements of the scrum methodology. In the sprint planning, the product owners decided which tasks to prioritize, and the other participants, expressed their interest in some of these challenges.
We made a lot of progress with the app, developing a new intro / tutorial guide, adding in new GUI elements and a series of new transform options for video mapped layers. It was a great introduction to MapMap for our students and we look forward to future springs, taking the app even further.
